Vaillant combi 938 thermostat doesnt get up to temperature

Hi everyone

I recently (couple months ago) had a new Vaillant ecotec 938 installed.

However, when i set the thermostat to temperature, the radiators get hot, then after a little while cool down. When i check the boiler, it is off and not providing heat despite the thermostat calling for it.

I suspected it was the RF signal of the thermostat (SALUS RF500), so i changed the RF frequency and reset everything, yet it still happens!

I am now contemplating replacing this thermostat with a NEST. However the receiver for the SALUS is built into the front panel of the boiler itself, how do i then wire this up?

If you only had it installed a couple of months ago and its not working correctly, get the installer back.
