I have a Vaillant VCW GB 282 EH combination boiler.
When the central heating switch is turned on (and thermostat correctly set)the burner fires up then switches off immediately so I never get any heating. The fan also runs continuously. Hot water still works fine under all settings.
If I reach in and activate and hold the micro switch by the diverter valve the heating comes on and works, heating up the radiators. Once I let go of the switch the burner turns off again and the fan keeps running as before.
If anyone has any ideas or experience of how to fix this problem please then that would be very helpful.
