Vaillant combi - no water flowing from hot taps

Hi All. My boiler had cut out due to the pressure dropping after refitting a rad removed for decorating. The heating is working fine since topping up the pressure but there is no water flow whatsoever from any hot taps (cold ones have usual pressure). Any suggestions as to the cause?

Have you shut off the cold supply to boiler and forgot to open it ?

Many thanks, the hot water is now back on. I've always said a key quality of an expert is the ability to gently point out the blindingly obvious to us idiots!!
