The hot water tap in my upstairs sink stopped flowing recently.
There is a good flow from the hot water tap in the bath and the downstairs taps. The upstairs cold tap works fine.
I have a combi boiler system. Yesterday I made sure the pressure was reasonably high: approx 2. Left the problem tap open for a while and water flowed normally. Thought it was fixed. Went back an hour later and the flow had stopped again.
Has anybody got any suggestions ? I have no plumbing experience whatsoever so apologies if this is a trivial problem with an easy fix. Currently I'm stumped.
