seem to be having a problem with my vaillant ecomax 824/2e boiler, regardless of what i set the hot water temperature at the temp goes over 80 degrees when the hot tap is left running. this is affecting my thermastatic shower i.e. the water goes cold when it detects temperature of more than 80 degrees. have tried resting boiler with no effect. any ideas?

Thanks for that. Unfortunately we didn't get any info on the bioler when we moved into the house, but when the status button is pressed it reads 5.30 or 5.17 - could these be fault codes?
