Hello there

im on a pay as you go gay meter which ran out today, after topping it up i realised the pressure was 0

i filled it up to 1.5 and i have noticed a leak from what i can tell is the cold water intake possibly from the mains, the leak is from a tap kind of valve just before the "limebeater" which then goes into the boiler

is this the likely cause for the pressure to drop so quickly, goes from 2 bars to 0 in half an hour

the cold water leak is a drip every minute

i found this user guide http://home2.btconnect.com/robert.fryer/docs/ecomaxuser.pdf

on page five, figure b.3 shows the pipe which is number 2 that is leaking

Your leak will be considerable but from the heating system.

Most likely from the pressure release valve vent. This usually goes through the wall to the outside behind the boiler.

Your leak is mains water which is completely different. It has no effect on boiler operation. Just makes a mess!
