Vaillant Ecomax pro 18 fan issue.

Hi all, I let air out of my heat exchanger by loosening the hot supply pipe at the top of the boiler. Some water dripped out onto the fan. Now my display is blank. However, when I disconnect the fan the display returns and the pump starts. I'm not sure if insult is the fan or the main pcb. The red wire to the fan has 36v, the white has12.8v and the other wires have zero volts. Is the fan faulty or the pcb

Thats diy gas advice. Not allowed on this forum.
You shouldn't even have the cover off it.

That aside. Prob best call vaillant for a fixed price repair as chances are on one that age the fan will be damaged now which also damages main pcb, half the time the pcb goes the display board goes.
