Hi I have the ecoTEC 438 and it seems fine.
I am trying to display d.80 which is "Heating operating hours"
but when scrolling through the first diagnostic d codes it jumps from 76 to 90
ie no 80, 82, 83, 84 etc.

Can anybody through some light on this.

Thanks BFS

Many thanks dangermouse

Your info for secret code display works fine but now I have spent some time with the manual I see
that Vaillant offer a PC link to the boiler.

It is the vrDIALOG 810/2

Vaillant say it " is intended for heating engineers and ambitious owners "

I am not quite sure what an ambitious owner is but do you ( or anybody) have experience with this gizmo and is it worth the effort.
Can it help shave a few quid off the running and maint. cost?

Regards BFS

Ambitious owners are to be discouraged at all costs...

Fortunately Vaillant also have a code to reset the boiler to its default settings. ;)
