Vaillant ecoTEC Plus 831 Issue...

Hiya guys,

The boiler isn't circulating properly. It reaches a certain temperature then shuts down and I'm getting no return flow. The pump barrings had gone so I replaced the pump which I thought would solve it.
There's no electronic problem.

Could it be the diverter valve not opening up to allow the return water back, causing the water to not circulate....?

any help would be very much appreciated!

if heating poor suspect main heat exchanger,black hoses or filter,not really diy ,

Worn pump bearings are caused by dirt in the system.

Merely replacing the pump will not remove the dirt.

The diverter valve may well have failed as well. Thats easy for a heating engineer to check.
