Vaillant ecotex 824 boiler fault F22

We have a Vaillant ecotex 824 boiler it keeps coning up F22 fault it works ok with just the hot water on but when we put the heating on and it go's off it dumps all the water from the boiler and put's f22 on and we have to refill the boiler[/b]

Guffed/undersized expansion vessel.

Expansion vessel will need recharging with footpump to 1 bar you will need to put a hose on a drain point first and leave it open whilst pumping up expansion vessel

I think that the expansion vessel on that model is INSIDE the combustion chamber and should therefore not be accessed by a DIYer!
