Vaillant F23 error code

Hi All
Just had Vaillant ecotec 615 serviced today and a new prv. Just noticed boiler had a F23 temp alarm and said to turn off the boiler. ive turned it off and back on and it's gone away just now, apart from ringing the engineer tomorrow . whats the problem and can I do anything

Could be a few things, but possibly trapped air if the prv has been changed. It could also be that one of the isolation valves has been left closed.

Thanks a lot of my rads have the auto vent fitted , do I need to do anything or shall I just call the engineer back.

Hi All . so I got up yesterday morning and the boiler sounded like a washing machine going round with the air in the system, the magna clean was whistling with air going through it so I put a bowl under it and opened the airvent letting air out for 20 mins which got the air out ok.
question is should the air vent tighten up fully as mine seems to tighten up then go a bit loose no water leaks. will a replacement be a good idea?
