Hi everyone I just had a vaillant 937 boiler fitted with a vrt 392 controller fitted on the upstairs landing my question is can I buy another 392 controller and fit it to the same two bus wires which the other one is connected to so I can control it from downstairs? Will they both work if not can I fit and analogue thermostat vrt 30 with this digital controller please answer if it can be done without buying a totally new wireless programmer thanks for any suggestions.

If you are prepared to fit an analogue thermostat downstairs and run a cable to the controller, why not just move the controller downstairs.
Why was it not fitted where you wanted it ? - not ideal having it on the landing.
I think you could connect another thermostat to it but the CH could still come on if it was cool upstairs and hot enough downstairs.
Or if you connected it so that the upstairs thermostat was by-passed it seems to defeat the object.

The old system had an analogue dial downstairs and timer upstairs that's why I kept it upstairs but would really like two controls I know what you mean now it would keep the ch on always trying to heat both areas I just wanted to be able to switch on and off from downstairs aswell.
