Dear all,
has anybody wired an existing programmer into one of these boilers, I have a programmer that has come off the ark, with 5 cables, I am assuming L,N,E, Heat and Water, but cand find where these wire into, I have looked the manual, but it does not seem to make sense to me, can any tell my where the cables go step by step.

Thanks

maybe you should leave it for someone who is competent.

Usually if you have a fully pumped system with motorised valves, which you most probably have with this boiler, the programmer would wire into the main wiring center, rather than the boiler.

This could be a largish white plastic box with many wires going into it in the airing cupboard or sometimes elsewhere.

The boiler will have a permanent live in, switched live in, pump live out to the pump and of course neutral and earth.

These will also wire back to the wiring center.

Depending on whether you have a 3 port valve or 2 x 2 port valves, you will either have (at the programmer) L, N, CH on, HW on, HW off.

The HW off will only be used if you have a 3 port valve.

Make sure you have isolated the heating circuit from the mains and tested all wires are dead before attempting any wiring. 240VAC can kill.
