Some spots of mildew/mild have developed directly above the corner of my bay windows.
The windows were replaced a few years ago, not well. The huge gap you can see I’ve just siliconed up.
However, from the outside at ground level I can seek it’s full of mouldyness on the valley and soffit. On the inside the wood feels cold and dark, but it’s not obviously soft and wet.
I do wonder if there might be a leak. Can anyone with a more experienced eye see something I can’t, or have some suggestions to confirm a leak? Even if I get a ladder up to the valley, I have no idea what I’d be looking for!
