thanks for reply .at the moment have not tested anything.just fitted new diverter as this had gone.hot water fires up great and the water runs well,though the flow rate at the taps is fairly low ?
Dont you do a performance check before you leave site to confirm that the boiler is operating properly and the max/min and ignition gas pressures are correct??
Very common for this behaviour after changing a DV in a sludgy/dirty system
The DHWHE primary will be sludged, leading to the hot/cold/hot pattern. because it can't get heat out of the boiler.
DV often packed up in the first place due to scale/dirt, but while it was "letting by" into the CH it was helping to cool the boiler.
Always worth checking/cleaning the dhwhe esp on a turbomax cos you've done most of the work already if you're changing the DV, though it isn't very difficult afterwards.
