I have got a Eco tech boiler just over 04 years old. 2 months ago we have notice their are some water leaking and called the repaier. He notice our diverter value is faulty and need to replace it.

He replaed the valve and leak stop. But we notice since he replaced the valve every time we open a hot water tap our radiators getting warmer too. Pls help Me.

Called many people and they say many many differnt ideas

Thanks you,

Regds,

SS

It sounds as if the diverter valve is faulty.

Are you sure he replaced with a nice new one and did not just put the faulty one back or fitted another faulty one?

It seems that the UK is not the only place where there are cowboys.

The obvious answer is to call back the repairer. Perhaps you dont want to because you have realised he is a cowboy?

Why dont you say where you are located?

Tony

Dear Tony

Thanks alot for replying and first of all sorry for missing to put where I have based.

Iam in Essex. I will redo my settings soon.

My diverter valvue is brand brand new and original valliant snd it was seald box when I purchesed from the shop.

Thats what worried me and the repaier said that nothing to do with him and he did the straight job. You may understand that time water is leaking and quite unuseal cold period with two kids I have to call someone .

iI got the part and fixed the sameday23/03/2010

please please help

might be the pcb. It has been known for the dv to leak into the electrical motor and blow the pcb in the process. If thats the case the pcb won't be driving the motor.

Dear All
