valliant VCW GB242E cycling

i have a boiler that when you run the HW will light and then immediately the flame will go out, then light again, and go out immediately, it does this about five or six times and then runs continuously.

what's wrong with it?
is it the flame detector?

When was it last serviced?

Sounds like ignition rate or a blocked air ring / air pressure switch fault - you need a RGI im afraid

I agree with beer lover prob air pressure switch tripping a known fault due to ignition pressures this can only be done by rgi
