varnish or epoxy for a hard finish?

I am sanding down old floorboards in a retail shop and I need some advice on the finish. The sanded floorboards will have a logo stained into them, then I want to seal the boards with a low maintenance, clear finish. Obviously being a shop it will have a high foot traffic.
At home on my Oak setts I have used a two-park epoxy sealer as it is easy and quick to apply (I can get three coats done in a day) but it seems to wear quickly.
In the shop I can take my time, but I suppose I want the hardest finish I can get; is this varnish?
Ronseal do a 'Diamond hard Floor Varnish'. Is this worth the money?

Hi, i'm no diy mastermind, car bodywork is my thing.

However if the epoxy finnish is of the same quality as epoxy garage floors they can take some serious stick from machinery without major marks, but, it does micro-scratch, which 'could' taint the opacity in a clear finnish that could make it look 'worn'.

Heels, granny bags, prams and simalar items could greatly enhance any wear effect if in a shop.

Cant speak for varnish.

I don't mind a bit of wear. I would be happy with a worn or distressed look, it's opaque patches where the varnish has chipped and damp got under it that looks bad.
