I've just sanded and varnished my kitchen floorboards using a water based satin varnish. It looks great but is very slippy. Is there any way to give the floor a bit more 'grip' without sanding back and starting again?

Read the instruction on the tin, does it say suitable for flooring ? because they do one for flooring only.

Okay, can't understand why the flooring is slippery. Is there a manufacter helpline phone number on the tin for advice?

I'll give that a go - it's not too bad, just a bit slidey when you're wearing socks! thanks for the suggestions

You could always use it for breakdancing / practicing your moonwalk
