i intend to fit a velux MK06 to my new 15 degree roof ,, can i ask if im correct in in making the opening for the new window 830mm wide,, im awere the hight will depend on the flashing kit but i need to know ive got the opening size correct thanks

Trim out the sides (rafters) so that they are 40mm - 60mm wider than the window.
The top and bottom trimmers largely coincide with how the window position ends up in relation to tiles, i.e. you set the Velux according to the bottom row of tiles and the corresponding roofing batten.
