A few years ago I had a potteron boiler fitted as part of an extension project a couple ofyears ago.

System started to knock so put some descaller in system and all was well.

Except, the four new radiators fitted as part of extension no longer get hot. Bled them for ages and ages but to no avail. Literally gallons and gallons of cold water. there's no inrads but also hot water doesn't get into them

am suspicious that the new circuit for the extension isn't actually pumped - is this possible? worked ok before system was bled and refilled.

Any ideas ??

Kind regards,

Anything is possible.

However, I find your posting very difficult to follow.

Did it work properly at first?

well it's certainly winding me up !

system did work fine before it was emptied and refilled, which suggest an air lock or blockage somewhere I guess ?

If it worked before and was pumped before then its highly likely that it will work again and is still being pumped, subject to any are in the system.

One wonders why you felt such a need to drain and refill it.

Because of the problems from air in a system I charge an extra £60 for any work that requires a complete draindown like changing a motor valve.
