Hello,

I am insulating my loft pitch roof and am fairly certain (but not 100%) that its a ventilated variety.

Reasons why I believe its ventialted:-
1. Theres one of those vent slates half way up the pitch.
2. There is no roof felt but what looks like some kind of a plastic sheet that does not look breathable.
3. It an old terrace.

Reasons that I am not sure.
1. Gaps at the eaves are really small. I can just about fit my finger in and push the plastic barrier up and see daylight. I'm not sure if this is sufficient ventilation to prevent the buildup of condensation?

Please can someone help. My house is cold!!
