I am about to plumb a toilet and the condense pipe of a combi boiler into an existing internal waste pipe (the waste pipe currently comes out of the ground 2ft).
I was just going to renew the waste pipe, fit a no-return valve to the condense pipe, add 2 straps to connect the toilet and condense, and then cap off the top of the waste pipe.

Someone told me that I should ventilate the top of the waste pipe but that seems crazy to me.

1. Am I doing this wrong?
2. Should I be ventilating the waste pipe?
3. What about the smell?

Thanks for your help!!!

You may also want to fit an in line air break befor the plastic NRV on the condensate line. I've sern these air lock.😉

Why the NRV on the condensate connection to a single stack system??

Give my regards to your girlfriend IOFIB, say baaaaaaahhhhh from me.
