Hi there,
I hope you will be able to help me. I live in a one bedroom flat and am thinking of using a Trevi Boost shower to solve me lack of hot water pressure. We have mains fed cold water, which may need the pressure reducing! But I have had 2 plumbers give me 2 opinions on whether I could fit one.. or resort to an electric shower
Here are the details that I coud find written on the economy 7 boiler:
Baguley
ref 25
Combination Unit
1620mm x 450mm
Water storage Capacity 180 litres
BEAB
Immersion Booster
Gold Dot
Additonally, being in a one bedroom flat, I realise that head may be an issue (but really I have no idea how to measure this!) all I know is that the base of the boiler unit is 530mm above the floor level in my flat.. The shower head most likely be mounted around 2000-2200mm above floor level or thereabouts.. this cant be an uncommon situation in flats can it?
My understanding from reading around is that combination boilers are supposed to be pressurised.. but it you've seen what comes out of my taps at the moment you wouldn't belive it. On the mixer shower if the cold is turned on even the slightest crack it overrides the hot water!
If you need any more info.. or maybe need to point me somewhere else just let me know!
