We currently have an electric shower (not sure of the power rating) that has pretty crappy flow. I am thinking of fitting one of these venturi showers:

I wish to use the hot water from the tank as I have an immersion on Economy 7 so it's either power shower or one of these. Does anyone have experience of using one of these venturi things?

I know it is powered from mains pressure and we are on the 3rd floor. Do you think I'll be able to guage the performance from just measuring the flow are should I get someone round to measure the pressure?

Thanks in advance for your responses to what seems like a bit of a donkey post to me!

I didn't buy one as our mains water pressure is little more than a dribble (top floor flat). I plan to fit a shower pump and thermostatic mixer once I've installed a larger cold water tank and surrey flange.

Surrey is pants.
Warix is similar but much easier to fit to existing plumbing,
Essex is simplest though you need to buy a holesaw.
