Hello,

Just a quick question, i'm currently pointing and painting my house i've already made the line by taking mortar out for the flashing, is there any harm in placing a part of the flashing into the hole and sealing it up before putting the veranda back up ? as i'm getting water in the wall.

I was thinking to carefully peel a line off the flashing and fix that part into the wall and seal it before i fully re attach the veranda due to the painting and pointing.
