Hey people who know!!

I have two vertical rads in my house that I fitted some years ago.

I clearly didn’t fit the bleed valve well and I have ignored a problem.

Shall I replace the really bad one?

The other one is showing first signs of the same thing - do that one too or leave it?

Votes please!!

Hi J,
I'm not a plumber, but to me it looks like the plug went in too deep and cracked the paint, making it leak and rust.

Did you put PTFE or similar on the thread?

If not then clean it all back by scraping, and wire brush, turn off both valves, remove the plug, fit it back with PTFE, and paint it.

C.
