Recently had a leaking bathroom tap ( mixer tap with shower connection ). My brother in law changed the washer for me. The flow wasn't great before but now it has been reduced to such a trickle that we can't fill the bath. Is it possible that my brother in law used the wrong size washer or that he over tightened the taps? The sink taps in the bathroom have good flow.

Its likely that bits of the old washer are now blocking the spout

The sink taps in the bathroom

A sink is meant for culinary purposes ie. washing pots and preparation of food. Why do you have one in your bathroom? Don't you have a wash basin like most other people?

hot water? cold water? tank fed? mains?
sincere apologies, but i dropped my crystal ball
