I've had to lift my laminate click tiles due to shower leaking.
On lifting the old laminate click tiles I noticed the installer had used 2. Layers of wood fibre underlay + 8mm laminate tiles which made a build upup of approx 18mm make up.
As a replacement I quite fancy the vinyl click plank though my floor at one point seems a bit uneven. I'm concerned because the floor make up will be so much less now that the sink pedestal will no longer meet the sink likewise the toilet will be wrond level. Would i be better laying 6mm ply in top of the chipboard floor in an effort to achieve build up??
