Vinyl Silk on MDF?

Hi all
I'm in the process of redecorating my cloakroom, and have had to build the wall off behind the loo as the new one doesn't quite reach the wall when it's all plumbed in

I've used MDF to build the wall off and would ideally like to match it to my other walls. Will Dulux Vinyl Silk stick to it if I use Dulux Primer & Undercoat first (or is there a better way?)

If your other walls are vinyl silk emulsion I personally would use a small tin of MDF primer then crack on with the emulsion. -Others may have better ideas
