This boiler is 2.5 years old and has just started to give me hot water problems. The rads heat up instead of giving me hot water sometimes, even though the display shows the hot water working. If I turn heating into off mode and wait a while and then try the hot water, it oftens works properly. Could this be a sticky converter valve? :?

Should be under warranty if it was installed by an approved engineer, get Viessmann out to it

A sticking diverter valve was a common problem on the later 100s for some reason and I understand they modified the motor/driver.

As stated it should be covered by the warrantee of 3 years extended to 5 years if installed by an approved installer.

Thanks for your comments. so a diverter valve it could be, it was installed by a registered corgi plumber but supplied by myself!!

Call their Service dept in the morning. Three year warranty on any domestic boiler installed after 1st July 07, now five year after 1st Feb 11.

Whats happened to the five year warrantee we were promised when fitted by a Viessmann listed installer?

And if its five year for anyone after 1st Feb 2011 then whats the advantage of being registered with Viessmann for an installer?

I phoned then this morning and they had changed the diverter by lunchtime.
Thanks for all you comments.
