I've fitted a few of these Viva Skylos and initially all is fine. Had a problem now with a second one which is only about a year old where the valve is not seating back down properly again. So overflowing into the pan like crazy. Manually pushed down and all is fine.

The rubber seal seems perfect and the reciprocal housing free of any crud or limescale. Ended up replacing the top part of the first one that had this fault, after numerous attempts at cleaning and silicone spray didn't work. Is there something I'm missing here?

Cheers :)

If it’s the cable operated type I’d be looking at this if all else is fine.
