vizo combi ,no hot water

Hi , got a vizo combi about 3 years old. last few weeks hot water has stopped working in water only mode. works intermitent when on heating mode.
in hot water mode i turn tap on fan comes on boiler light's for a few seconds then stops ,fan still runs . turn tap off then fan shuts down. All relivant answers appreciated .
