Hi all I would be most grateful if I could get some help, I have a vizo24 and is working fine except for the pressure. It gets pretty high even when running on medium setting for the CH Its 6 months old and running 6 rads plus one towel rad and only a small house no no long runs. The system is bled properly and starts off at 1bar when cold. Is there anything I can do to stop the pressure getting so high when system is running like changing the setting on the internal water pump (its on middle setting at the moment) other than that like i said it pretty new has been cleansed and has inhibitor in.

Many thanks in advance :D

This is a very cheap boiler and rarely fitted properly. We charge about £840 to fit a boiler and as it only costs about £400 to buy no body wants to pay to have it fitted properly. They are very good if fitted to a clean system.

It seems the expansion vessel is failed or the communication pipe is blocked with dirt. Or the installer discharged it for his fun if you did not pay him enough to install the boiler.

As its presumably under some kind of warrantee then call them out. If its an installer error like dirt in the system then it is likely to become a chargeable call.

Thanks Tony for quick reply. Can i ask you what you mean by discharging what for fun, the expansion vessel you mean? I know its a cheap boiler but it doesn't mean i didn't pay cheap to have it installed it was what he chose to fit in his price. Can you tell me how much the vessel would roughly cost to replace please? You made me think now because I saw him up there and he said that there was air to be released, does this mean that there should be air in that vessel?

Great wee boiler for the money & lots of Landlords use them in Let property. We have fitted loads, without a problem. However, as Tony has said, the system must be as clean as a Nun's knickers & they must be commissioned correctly.

If the expansion vessel is knackered(technical term) one can be fitted on the pipe work going to the boiler, which is a lot cheaper to do.

if its only 6 months old then why don`t you call manufactures and see if they will repair it for free glowworm i think own the rights know

thanks for that but there is no air in the expansion tank but no water coming out when i tried the valve can they be filled back up or is it a case of a new tank?
cheers
