Hi, hoping someone can help. We have a vokera Linea boiler. I had noticed that the central heating was still on when the programmer was switched off. This had happened a few times. The ch still comes on as is programmed. Noticed the radiators cold when the heating should have been on and discovered boiler had no power. Opened the boiler up and noticed the 2 A fuse in the pcb had blown. Changed the fuse and a short time later noticed the same thing had happened again. Since replacing fuse for 2nd time all has been fine (24 hours) but still problem remains with programmer.

Have also noticed that the hot water runs luke warm from the mixer shower but hot from taps.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

Gary the boiler will most likely need a proper service if boiler has already been serviced (you know what I mean:p)

Boiler has a preheat facility that might be heating the radiators with programmer in the off position

Boiler service, on all makes and models, is essential, to maintain boiler in good working order
Service needs to be carried out as makers specify and sticking a probe in the flue cannot be deemed to be a boiler service

Trust fuse rating matches fuse replaced

It could be the diverter leaking into the motor. If it is, it'll need an overhaul kit and new motor.

got to find the reason why the fuse blown , you may be lucky its a one off but a service is definitely needed you shouldn't be messing within the pcb area .
