Hi

Have noticed recently (last six months) that water flow has gone down considerably when running hot water.

According to Vokera blurb, the Compact 28 should be able to run at 11.5l per minute, mine is running at only 3.0lpm, I measured it last night. I know that the cold weather affects things and also the temperature you want the water at might be a problem, but I can't see an easy way of improving it. I am not expecting 11.5lpm but I would quite like to get at least 9, is that too much to ask?

Does anybody have any ideas/solutions, they would be much appreciated.

can this be fixed easily? The boiler is only a couple of years old, and have had it serviced in Oct, is this something that would normally be picked up?

Didn't realise it was this new. could be inlet water filter blocked. Unlikely to have scaled up this bad in 2 years.

Call service company back, although this would not be checked at a basic service.

There is a flow restrictor in the back right hand side heat exchanger connection.

Could well be that.

but first turn the black knob on the right hand side facing you under the boiler counterclockwise.

Mark, you have not made it clear if the problem is that hardly any water flows through the boiler ( thats flow restrictor or filter problem ).

OR

It can give 11 li/min but thats virtually cold and to get it above 40°C you have turn the tap down ( thats blocked heat exchanger or gas rate problem! )
