Hi,
Some great and detailed posts here. My first time discovering the site. I'm looking for some advice if possible:
We have inherited this boiler when we bought our flat.
It has been a bit temperamental recently, requiring the pressure to be topped up every week or so and the hot water has been getting fairly temperamental temperature wise.
Recently the Sentinel inhibitor started leaking out of the unit and when we remove the cover it looks like the fluid is slowly dripping from the main combustion chamber... pic 1 below
The boiler was off when i returned from work today. It couldn't be restarted as usual by topping up as no pressure at all registering. eventually noticed all the water was pouring outside via pipe from the safety valve... pic 2

Am i clutching at straws looking for advice - is it completely dead?
Worried I'll be wasting time and money getting someone out tomorrow? so would be fantastic if i could get some opinion from you.
Thanks in advance
M

Unlikely the boiler is dead. The valve could be cuffed. Leak within the chanber needs to be investigated.

Must say Vokeras are not what they used to be, but still better than a bad bunch.

I am in Bearsden and work on Vokeras regularly.
