Vokera Excell 80 sp quick question

We had a problem last week with our boiler. British Gas changed the fan and that sorted it. But the fan now runs when there is no heating or hot water demand, should this be the case?

Ok, cool thanks. Just never heard it with the old fan. That maybe explains why the the pilot light would go out sometimes before!
 
When the fans get old they sometimes fail to run on slow speed hence the problem you saw and presumably why BG replaced the fan.
