Vokera Linea 28

So where has the engineer gone?

Or did he never exist?

Unfortunately, he certainly insists, and has even offered to install our new boiler when he leaves British Gas in April! I just want to check independently that a replacement flow restrictor is still available before contacting British Gas as I do not want to be fobbed off with the "no parts available" routine.

As far as I am aware they are still available.

Even if not then an engineer can fiddle them to fix the boiler.

But they are still a viable boiler and little benefit in replacing one.

There are probably still at least 500,000 of them in service based on the number that I still see to repair.

you dont need one throw the existing one away and have a ballofix valve installed on the inlet and set it from there

Another wee nugget from you Tony , how the hell does the amount of boilers Europe have anything to do with how many you get the bus too ???????

And within that listing is the statement :-

"We recommend that all parts are fitted by a fully qualified gas safe certified engineer."

But the mere presence of that part at a recognised parts merchant shows the part is available.

However the problem in this case is the nupty does not seem able to diagnose the fault in the first place!

Do you mean Numpty.

I always spell it nupty, as it sounds more correct.

But I probably mean the same kind of person!
