hi there i have this vokera maxin boiler and it cut's out every day once or twice with out notice. not when i use the hot water
and i have to press the reset button to get it back on. I had this british gas engineering that look at it, and he said the flute need's to be changed he did not take the flute out to look at it neither did not show me any problem with the flute. The flute looks intact it has a guard net out side to protect it and inside it looks fine. I hade this problem for about 2 months now.
any help please

How did a BG man come to look at it?

Usually any problems with a flute would mean that he would have left the boiler turned off!

Why have you not engaged BG to fix it for you?

Did he come free to diagnose the fault?

I always charge to diagnose faults but then when I charge I have to correctly identify the fault. If you are not paying then I dont think you deserve a correct diagnosis.

i find it unlikely to be the flute.

the oboe or possibly the tuba is far more likely.

did he check the timpani? it regularly fails on these.

i have found that if the giggle stick is not fully engaged into the happy flange then you will encounter prejak of said obtuberance
