I needed to take a couple of radiators off my wall and did so. When I put them back on and re-pressurized the system I forgot to turn off the boiler
Whether this was the cause, the result was the fuse in the mains switch (3amp) blew, which I replaced within a couple of hours.
I now cant get the boiler to ignite though the fan is on. I have checked the temperature overload valve, to the right of the boiler which seems fine and the boiler is still at the required pressure 1.5Bar.
Can anyone point me into the right direction to try and fix this.
Fortunately my dad is a plumber / Gas Certified and is visiting this weekend, but Id like a hot shower before then and dont want it to be a busman's holiday for him.
If anyone can advise it would be highly appreciated !
