i have a vokera option combi boiler . recently built a conservatory on the house . i added two radiators in the conservatory. after this i rebalanced the system but these rads refuse to heat up. ive done the calculations and seem to only have about 11 kw worth of rads running on the system . i understand that this boiler will give 24 kw. any ideas

A lot depends on the pipe diameter the size of the radiator and the length of the pipe run. 24kw is on the hot water side. the heating might be slightly less, but if your only using 11kw then you have got power in reserve. where is the boiler in relation to the conservatory. and what size pipe has been used

You say that you have rebalanced the system but you clearly have not done this successfully.

We would suggest you turn off ALl the other rads and see if these cold ones then heat up.

How do you rate your skill at balancing rads?

Tony
