Thank you for looking at this post.

A temporary bathroom is being fitted, it is for about a year until an extension is done.

Two walls in the bathroom are external walls so they are going to be battened then with either glasroc h or aqua panels, and moisture resistant plasterboard elsewhere.

But I'd like to insulate in between the battens. Polystyrene insulation appears lowest cost, as this is temporary bathroom. BUT the battens are 17 mm depth and the narrowest polystrene insulation is 25 mm.

Any ideas welcome, thank you.

Thank you again for looking.

Thank you for your reply.

I was thinking of insulation between the battens ie between the wall and the cladding to be fixed to the battens.

Thank you for the link to the underfloor insulation. At 15mm it would certainly fit!

Am wondering for what reason there is no wall insulation at 15mm?!

Thanks again for your reply.

Because it's too thin to be worth using, and would fall way below regs, but as you say this is temporary, should lessen condensation on the walls, maybe buy you an extra degree of heat.
