wall mounted boiler-pilot light wont stay on

wall boiler pilot light went out,had boiler seviced-everything fine and had thermacouple replaced,everything fine for 1 week,then nothing.pilot light wont relight at all now HELP PLEASE.
 
changed thermacouple +tried a new gas valve,looks like low or high limit stat not shutting off gas and trying to keep boiling up.possible answers on a postcard please?
 
Changing thr GV was a bit rash - could be a dirty pilot jet or one of several other things. It's a guessing game when we don't know the boiler make and model!!
