I thought I was being pretty clever when I pulled cable for a wall mounted spotlight to illuminate bathroom mirror - daisy chain from downlights......
I fixed a triangle of timber into corner of stud work so there was something solid behind plasterboard to attach spotlight to... With the cable sticking through a hole in said timber....

Now I come to fit a spotlight, to find I can't push the cables back through, and there is no way they will fit behind spot.... Grrrrrrrrr.!

Anyone know of a wall mounted spot with plenty of spaced behind??

Thanks

Something like this, providing it's more than 600mm from the edge of shower/bath. Otherwise you'll need something with a higher IP rating.

It appears ample room if you strip the grey and the white sheathing more

From your initial post, it appears you intended to push the join back within the wall.
How would that conform.

@trojanhawrs
I suggested terminating it within the base of the enclosure, which is the way a vast majority of wall mounted fittings are mounted.
The fitting becomes the enclosure.
No, I intended to terminate in the spotlight enclosure, but clearly have the wrong light.

My mistake, looking at it I thought the mount in his fingers wasn't covered by the light base. Would definitely be a squeeze though
