wall mounted taps heigh over washbowl

Hi!
I am installing a shallow (25cm) washbowl on a counter and have wall mounted 3 hole mixer to fit to the wall, but cant figure out how to decide how high to fit the taps?? without the spout being too high and splashing or too low and in the way!!! any tips?
