hi, i'm aiming to insulate a bedroom wall, using knauf plasterboard laminate which is backed with polystyrene, by bonding it direct to the existing plastered wall. will it stick ok with ordinary plasterboard adhesive? if not what do i use please? should add that i don't want to lathe it as room is small enough already. many thanks

Have you checked the manufacturers specc sheet/guide; it's always a good idea to follow them 
it' a single leaf brick wall brick wall rendered and then plastered. have trawled through knauf's website but can't find any reference to bonding it except fastening to lathes.should add also that it's an exterior wall which is tiled on the outside
I know RC doesn't like this method and I must admit it's not the best, but if you are doing it the way you intend.
The boards get stuck on to the wall and nailable plugs are used as secondary mechanical fixing.
