Hi all,

Sorry if this has been posted before, I have looked but couldn't see anything.

We are papering a small toilet room. One of the main reasons for this is the walls are in quite bad condition- bowed etc and we thought textured paper would disguise that. Unfortunately because the walls aren't true, we are having real problems with keeping the paper vertical at the corners, as it is vertical on 1 side, but bends along the line of the corner and takes it off vertical at the other side.

How do we get around this problem?

Many thanks in advance.

Andy

Best to paper up to a corner and either ; Let 1"return onto next wall, snipping sideways along the edge to allow edge to follow the humps, then start a new lenght into corner covering the edge and trimming if required. Use vinyl border paste to stick vinyl to vinyl. Though this way the edge return may be noticable.

OR!! like I do I cut into every corner, to form a nice sharp corner. i.e dont follow round onto next wall with one lentgh of paper. May mean using more paper for matching on cnr's but well worth it.
Hope this makes sense... I've erm .... had a couple .....
