I WILL NOT relate my Wallstar experience, many others seem to have covered ALL my problems and some of the remedies.
I am a retired electronic engineer and I have left the maintenance of the Wallstar to the "aledged" experts, for insurance purposes. Howevever we have been plagued by "drop out" intermitantly for over two years. Call out and sevice has cost a firtune. I have a reasonable knowledge of the boiler function, and a bit embarassed not to have tackled this problem myself.

Not wishing to start with my foot on the bottom rung I would apreciate some constructive comments here.
ALL the major items of this SOB have been replaced by the "expert" ... pump, photocell, solenoid, control panel, motor, etc.
Just checked the "faulty" photcell .. exactly the same light responce to the new one.

Just a few questions now ... the bubble ! How much air can be tolerated in the virtical plastic fuel line, this has 30cm. ?

Can the non-return devise stick closed ?

Regards flounder

I wish I had a quid for the times I've heard 'the bubble' blamed for the problems with a Wallstar. Customers & our own Artisans!!
