The only thing I found strange about Rod Hull was that nobody ever clobbered him while he was grabbing various parts of their body.

Rod and Emu up on the roof fixing the TV aerial. Rod falls off. Emergency services find Rod flat on the ground . Emu on the other hand (Not Rods this time) was sitting motionless on the chimney.
